Big Rory & Ochie
The nine foot loveable rascal, Big Rory, out for a walk with Ochie, his wayward mongrel. Inevitably there's total confusion as the amorous mutt careers around, peeing on lamp posts and heaven knows what else, with Rory in hot pursuit trying to contain the chaos. If you expect a quiet time from this pair, don't book them!

"Big Rorys new pet dog 'Ochie' made it's debut appearance in July at our annual Gala weeks festivities and oh what a debut! The ever hilarious Big Rory accompanied by his over excitable mutt 'Ochie' had the crowd in tears of laughter. Making an appearance at our Pet and Dog Show caused uproar and chaos throughout the streets of Stromness. Year after year 'Big Rory & Co.' make the journey to entertain the crowds in Orkney and we are never disappointed. The new addition to the crew is a fabulous idea and a guaranteed crowd puller."

The Seagulls
Totally surrealistic, with working beaks, they'll be rummaging in bags and pockets, stealing food from plates and picnic baskets, causing chaos as usual and squabbling amongst themselves. Shrieks of laughter follow them wherever they go. And now you can have a flock of four of them. This year they will have performed in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria & South Australia in Australia and Norway, The Netherlands, Ireland, Northern Ireland, England and Scotland, and they're off to Tasmania in the New Year.

"Well blow me down. Never in my puff have I had such a reaction to a launch event. The seagulls were not only eye-catching and hilarious but also you get the feeling that they believe themselves to be seagulls, surreal! Truly nice & professional people "

It's A Dogs Life
Two dogs discuss their lives from a dogs perspective and come up with some startling theories. Inevitably the innocent bystanders are drawn into an ever increasing vortex of surreal chaos and confusion. A distinctly subversive piece. (Walk / sit about)

Yet another triumph for Surreal McCoy. The outrageous dogs of “It’s a dogs life” in turn terrorised and delighted our festival crowds. They were an undoubted hit of the festival. Mike and Rachel with their generous and flexible approach were a delight to work with and are an asset to any festival any where “
Neil Butler, Director Merchant City Festival 2007

Pompous Maximus and Servillius Wretch
They’re bigger than Ben Hur! Pompous the Roman centurion and Servillius his devious slave turn up after years in the wilderness to check up how the Roman empire is doing.

Big Rory & Gorgeous Morag
Gorgeous Morag, a 9’2" sex bomb in stiletto heels. Along with Rory this leggy lush has had crowds wetting themselves from Tighnabruaich to Tokyo. They do a walkabout ‘par excellence’ in English, French, Japanese, Italian - they’ll get an audience screaming in any language! Morag and Rory also do a pure dead lascivious tango (eat your heart out Marlon).

"Death Row" Jethro
(Known to his pals as Peggy) Fierce looking 8' 6" high retired sea captain is a big softie really. With Polly, his psychic talking plastic parrot, he gently pokes fun at his audience. Wonderful warm character, wonderful costume, he's absolutely perfect for seaside venues and great with the Seagulls.

- Southampton Tall Ships

Wee Dougie, a cheeky wee devil in his romper suit. It's well worth the extra to get him along in his six foot pram. Sportsman of the future, in twenty years time he'll be running around Hamden Park.
